Before your Appointment:
Avoid excessive sun exposure for at least 2 weeks before your treatment.
Moisturise the skin thoroughly, drink at least 2 liters of water per day, and avoid foods and drinks that cause dehydration (coffee, alcohol, etc.) at least 5 days pre-treatment.
Best results are seen when the area to be treated has been shave prior to the treatment.
Post-treatment Care:
A warm, sunburn-like appearance is expected post-treatment, and swelling may occur.
Do not wash your face for the first 24 hours.
A vinegar solution will be provided. Use as a toner after cleansing the skin. We have HOCL Spray also available to buy for homecare.
Apply the provided moisturiser, and only reapply when the skin feels tight or itchy. Please note that excessive moisturizing may prolong the flaking process.
Avoid active ingredients such as retinols and exfoliators for 5-7 days post-treatment.
Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks, and ensure an SPF50 is re-applied daily.
Use of anti-inflammatories (oral or topical) are not recommended for 2-3 days post-treatment.
Avoid swimming, hot baths/showers, saunas, and exercise for atleast 3 days post-treatment.
