Partial/Half Face
The partial face laser includes all areas on the face besides the forehead: the nose, upper lip, chin, cheeks, and sideburns will be included in this area.
Full Face
The full face laser consists of the forehead, nose, upper lip, chin, sideburns and cheeks. It does not include the front of the neck below the chin.
Bikini Sides and Top
This covers areas immediately outside a bikini line, where the thigh meets the torso and above the panty line.
Full Hollywood
Also referred to as "Full Bikini." This includes the frontal bikini area, the sides, and in between the buttocks as well. Areas covered are comparable to a Brazilian wax.
What is Laser Hair Removal?
Laser hair removal is a treatment that permanently reduces the amount of hair you have. The laser device produces a concentrated light, and this light gets absorbed by the melanin pigment that’s in your hair follicles, a small cavity found just right under your skin. Once inside your hair follicles, laser heat burns it and dissipates the root of your hair. There are various types of Laser Hair Removal devices. Before your Appointment:
Shave the treatment area thoroughly the day before the treatment.
Avoid using creams, perfumes, and deodorant on the day of the treatment.
Only shave the areas to be treated between sessions, no plucking, tweezing, waxing, or electric epilators may be used.
Avoid self-tanning lotions up to 2 weeks prior to your next session.
Post-treatment Care:
A reaction known as perfollicular erythema is common post-treatment, it causes reddening and swelling of the hair follicles, and may last 1-3 days.
A soothing cream may be used on irritated areas post-treatment if needed (aloe vera gel, etc.).
Wait 24 hours before applying makeup, perfumes or deodorant to the treated areas.
Avoid direct sun exposure post-treatment, and ensure to use an SPF50 on exposed treated areas.
Avoid hot showers/ baths and saunas for 48 hours post-treatment.
Be gentle with the treated skin - avoid excessive rubbing, exfoliating, retinol creams, etc. for a week after the treatment (especially for areas treated on the face).
